Cause of Establishment: This temple was built in the memory of the son of Maharaja Vinay Singhji borne by his pardayat. The name of the son of Maharaja was Sher Singh who died young and to commemorate him, the temple was built.

The deity worshiped here is Thakur Kunj Behariji also known as Sri Nathji.

Religious sect to which the temple belongs:

This temple belongs to Rama Nandi Vaishnava Sect of Hindus. Therefore, the Rama Nandi traditions are followed in worship here.

Architecture of the Temple:

The temple has been built in the typical style. The entrance has a Troan dwar. On sanctum sanctorum a highly elaborately carved Shikhar stands.The pillars are high and massive. The pinnacle of the Shikhar has a Kalash. Artistically chiseled statuettes establish the rich sculptural tradition of temples.

Material of Construction:

Makrana Stone and Chhitor sand stone has been used.

Unique features of the temple:

 Makrana stone has been used and it has been beautifully carved. Similarly, the sandstone of chhitar has also been used to add to the beauty of the temple. To incurve and engrave and for sculpture , this sandstone is most useful, therefore purpose, this has been profusely used here.

The prayers do not differ from those of Vaishnava sect. Therefore, the Ramanandi and the Vaishnava sects are almost identical, so far as Pooja is concerned.

Issues requiring global attention for conservation, protection and improvement of the temple:

The temple needs repair work. Since the temple is located in the interior of the town, its proper publicity has not been made. It should be highlighted for attracting the tourists.
